Top 100 firm SingerLewak LLP is merging in middle-market firm Good & Fowler LLP, expanding its presence in the Bay Area to South San Francisco.

The deal will bring four additional partners to Los Angeles-based SingerLewak: Michael Ellingson, Mitchell Richstone, Bruce Wright and Daniel Harrington. They will continue to work from the South San Francisco office, and Good & Fowler will operate as a division of SingerLewak.

SingerLewak ranked 88th on Accounting Today’s 2016 list of the Top 100 Firms, with $41.37 million in annual revenue.

“As businesses, globalization and growth continue an upward trend, we constantly look for opportunities to augment our operations, service offerings and talent acquisition to better serve our clients,” said SingerLewak managing partner Jim Pitrat in a statement. “The combination with Good & Fowler, LLP brings together two accounting firms whose history, mission, values and commitment to superior client service and technical expertise are strongly aligned.”

Wright noted that Good & Fowler has been in the local community for more than 60 years and that his firm shares entrepreneurial roots with SingerLewak. “To continue delivering on our founding vision, the best path forward was to join forces with a leading accounting firm who shares in the same vision and goals,” he said.
