Cloud-based time and billing software platform Bill4Time has added a new desktop companion app for Apple Macintosh users.

The app lets Mac users record time and expenses and create new projects or new client records without logging into the main web-based application. Like the platform’s existing mobile app, the Mac app can be used with or without an Internet connection. Data is stored for synchronization until Internet connection is restored.

The Bill4Time Mac Desktop Companion is available for download from the iTunes and Mac App store. It requires OS X 10.9 or later and a 64-bit processor.

“ … [N]on-admin users occasionally want a streamlined, minimalist workflow,” said president of Bill4Time, Jeremy Diviney, in a statement. “Bill4Time Mac Desktop Companion allows these users to focus on capturing accurate time and expense records without having to navigate the web.”
