The National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) announced on Tuesday their 2017 Top Companies for Executive Women presented by Working Mother magazine. The annual list looks to honor businesses in the U.S. in which female leadership is well-represented.

Notably, a number of accounting and professional services firms made this year's list, including:

Applications for this year's list were submitted from December 14, 2015, through March 11, 2016, as well as June 20 to August 26, 2016. Winning entries were selected on data each business provided in their applications. To be considered for this year's list, applicants must have a minimum of two women on their board of directors and a minimum of 1000 staff members overall.

Amongst the findings presented in the 2017 list's Executive Summary, NAFE found that 32% of this year's class have at least 5 women on their boards of directors, with an average of 29% of board of directors comprised of women in all.
