Eide Bailly LLP is expanding its presence in Spokane, Washington, with the addition of Langenhorst & Self-Merritt CPAs P.S., effective Jan. 16, 2017.
The combination will add two partners, Hube Langenhorst and Jeri Self-Merritt, plus five staff members to Eide Bailly. Headquartered in Fargo, North Dakota, Eide Bailly ranked 20th on Accounting Today’s 2016 list of the Top 100 Firms, with $224.6 million in annual revenue. The firm originally expanded to Washington State in 2014 when it merged in another Spokane-based firm, McDirmid, Mikkelsen & Secrest P.S.
“Expanding in the state of Washington continues our strategy to grow west of the Mississippi River and into the Intermountain Region to fully serve mid-market clients,” said Eide Bailly managing partner and CEO Dave Stende in a statement. “Langenhorst & Self-Merritt will add depth to the services we offer clients, especially in the construction and nonprofit industries. We’re also looking forward to the community connections and years of experience they bring to Eide Bailly.”
Langenhorst & Self-Merritt will move into Eide Bailly’s existing offices in Spokane.
“We’re excited to bring clients a broader scope of knowledge and resources,” Langenhorst said in a statement. “We’ll be able to focus more on our clients and their needs now since we won’t be bogged down with the day-to-day details of running a small business.”
