IT consulting and solutions group TrinSoft, located in Lexington, Ky., continued their annual charitable tradition last year by donating 10% of their 2016 profits to charity.

"TrinSoft believes all companies and individuals have a responsibility to improve their community," the company wrote in a release. "TrinSoft also believes every company can make a difference; whether we define that community as our local towns and neighborhoods or as our global economy."

Professionals were urged to name their charitable organizations of choice - located in both their native Central Kentucky and abroad - be it for the organization's mission or a non-profit they were personally involved in.

Founded in 1996 by CPA John Stucky, TrinSoft looks to "provide value to organizations by using technology to solve business challenges while maintaining a profitable, fun and challenging work environment and contributing to our community," per their mission statement.
